Ear re-piercing... Help!

I got my ears pierced about 2.5 years ago. Forgetting I got my ears pierced, my brother woul squeeze my head (it was an inside joke before that) and they would start bleeding. So, I decided to take them out. want to get them pierced exactly where the hole before was. How do I know if they're okay to repierce. My mom wants to sk a professional (someone other than at Piercing Pagoda). Who would we ask and do you think I could have them redone? Thanks.
