My mom is angry at me for cleaning the house?

I don't understand why she is acting that way. If I had done all that for my mother she would be ecstatic. All I can say is to talk to her. Tell her you didn't mean to make her angry and that you were trying to please her and thought she would like it and that you weren't trying to be in anyones business. Maybe she she had a tough time on her trip or she was hiding something she didn't want you to find. Just talking to her.
