Flagged for Army APFT question.?

My friend had a pt test this morning, but before the test began, she became very ill, throwing up and everything. Even the first seargent saw it. The nco's didn't want her to take the test because she was soo sick (and no she wasn't drinking or anything, I was there with her the night before), but the put her down as a no-go, which means a flag is sure to follow. When I was active duty, there was a section in fm 21-20 that stated if you feel you cannot perform a pt tst due to fatigue or illness, raise your hand. The graders used to read it before our apft. Is there anything she can do to prevent the flag?
