Turquoise top and fuscia skirt?

I saw my favorite artist Sade wearing a beautiful turquoise jacket and fuscia skirt on the tonight show. She looked so gorgeous, I have a turquoise top and want to buy a fuscia skirt because I think it's a beautiful combination. My mom and sis say that this combination is a big no no I need some opinions thank you.
