So I'm basically screwed now?

I must be exceedingly retarded. Sopre, never had a girlfriend before, and just agreed to go out with a girl. And since I just found out "going out" meant actually going places on a date (someone told me it was just being close, hanging out a lot and holding hands, etc.), I basically agreed to something I cannot do. I can't drive to take her anywhere, nor do I even know how. What do I do? Kill myself?
