Advice on Father telling me how to live my life?

I will be graduating from high school this year at 16 years old. I just turned 17 years old this month. My Father raised me as a single parent. I am forever grateful for what he's done for me, the struggle we've gone through. What's been bothering me though is his persistence on me becoming a doctor. I want to pursue an MBA and work investment banking. He keeps telling me: "You want make much money." Advice on what to do? This keeps bothering me.
